In the 2nd minute, Zaquan's one-two pass with Idlan Talaha nearly producing Malaysia's first goal
but his shot went wide.
Few minutes later, great cross Zaquan found Idlan Talaha but his shot was
saved by Syrian goalkeeper.
Malaysia scores the first goal in the 16th minutes but it was ruled out as the linesman
waved his flag indicating ball were outside before Zaquan crossed the ball.
In the 20th minutes, Ahmad Fakri great header tipped away by Syria

Syria got at least three great chances to score. First one happened in
the first 10 minutes where the header went straight to Farizal Marlias.
Another couple came from a dead ball situation which saw them gone few inches high and
Malaysia were composed in the first half. Malaysia got two yellow
cards through Norhafiz Zamani and Zaquan Adha. Safiq Rahim dominating the
midfield and most of Malaysia's attack came from the center and right
side through Ahmad Fakri Saarani.
No minister was spotted and a small group of Syria supporters was seen consisting of 10
to 20 people.
S Kunalan was great when 2nd half restarted with his pace on Malaysia's left flank.
Safiq Rahim had a clear cut chance with the goalkeeper but his shot was high.
Few minutes later, Zaquan used his pace to beat Syria defender but
his shot was deflected and hit the left post.
In another attempt, Aidil, who was introduced by K. Rajagopal in the second
half, head out wide to the right from corner.
Referee, who was not in Malaysia's favour. gave Farizal Marlias for taking his
time to take goal kick.
15 minutes later, Kunalan and Zaquan continued to penetrate Syrian defends.
Malaysia got another penalty after a one-two play between Zaquan and
Idlan Talaha, forced Syrian defender to tackle in the penalty box.
Safiq Rahim again converted the penalty kick for Malaysia's second goal.
At the same time, K. Rajagopal introduced Badrol Bakhtiar, Amirul Hadi
and K. Gurusamy.
Abdul Manaf Mamat in replacing Idlan Talaha in 66th minutes.
Referee awarded Syria a penalty in 67th minutes for foul during air
challenge from corner kick. Syria's No 8 converted the penalty kick.
Zaquan scored Malaysia third goal in 77th minutes when Abdul Manaf
Mamat cross found Zaquan who easily tapped it in.
Zaquan was given marching order for second yellow card for trying to delay the game when K.
Rajagopal try to sub him with Syakir Ali.
Worried with the referee's bad decision, K. Rajagopal replaced Farizal Marlias
with Sharbinee Alwee because he was having one yellow card.
Finally Shakir Ali was introduced for our central defender Norhafiz Zamani.
K. Gurusamy sealed the 4-1 win with a nice run from the middle of the field
and lobbed the goalkeeper.
